Welcome to FieldCoachAI ("Platform", "Service"). This platform utilizes artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision technology to analyze football videos, provide performance insights, and facilitate individual and team communication.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, including all video upload, processing, analysis, messaging, and data visualization features. By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
Please save or print a copy of these Terms for your records. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically for any updates.
By creating an account or using the Platform, you confirm that:

If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to create an account and use our services. Parents or guardians of users under 18 are responsible for monitoring their child's use of the Platform and ensuring compliance with these Terms.

When uploading video content, you agree to the following requirements:
You retain all ownership rights to your uploaded video content. However, by uploading videos to our Platform, you grant us:
We will NOT use your videos for advertising, sell them to third parties, or make them publicly available without your explicit consent.
You represent and warrant that your uploaded videos do not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or publicity rights. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have obtained all necessary permissions, releases, and consents from individuals and third parties appearing in your videos.
Videos Containing Minors: You may upload videos that contain individuals under 18 years of age for legitimate coaching and analysis purposes, provided that: (a) you have obtained all necessary parental/guardian consents and releases; (b) you comply with all applicable laws regarding filming and data protection of minors; and (c) you do not share such videos publicly or with unauthorized third parties.
You may NOT upload professionally broadcast matches, copyrighted footage from professional leagues, or any content that you do not have the rights to use. Violation of this term may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform. Specifically, you must not:

7.1 How Our AI Works: Our Platform uses advanced machine learning models and computer vision algorithms to analyze football videos. The AI detects players, tracks movements, identifies tactical patterns, calculates performance metrics, and generates insights. The technology continuously learns and improves, which may result in variations in analysis quality over time.
7.2 Accuracy and Reliability: While we strive for high accuracy, you acknowledge and agree that feedback and insights from our services are estimations and general recommendations that may contain errors or inaccuracies. Video quality, lighting, camera angles, and weather conditions affect analysis accuracy. AI recommendations should not be the sole basis for critical decisions. Human review and judgment should complement application of the service insights and feedback.
AI Model Training and Data Usage: By using our Platform, you acknowledge and expressly agree that we may use your uploaded videos, analytics data, usage patterns, and other content to train, improve, and refine our artificial intelligence models, computer vision algorithms, and machine learning systems. This includes but is not limited to:
We will prioritize the use of aggregated and anonymized data whenever possible. However, individual videos and identifiable data may be used for model training as part of our service improvement efforts. You may opt out of certain data usage for AI training through your privacy settings, though this may limit the accuracy and functionality of features available to you.
You understand that AI cannot replace human coaching, professional scouting, or medical advice. AI-generated insights should be used as supplementary tools for analysis and should not substitute for professional judgment, especially regarding player safety, medical conditions, or contractual decisions.
Our Platform provides messaging functionality to facilitate individual and team communication, coaching feedback, and collaborative analysis. Messages may include text, images, video clips, and analytics reports.
When using messaging features, you agree to:
We reserve the right to review, monitor, and moderate communications to ensure compliance with these Terms and to prevent abuse. Automated systems may flag messages containing prohibited content. We may remove messages or suspend accounts that violate our policies.
Our Platform generates various types of analytics including:
All analytics and performance metrics are estimations based on video analysis and may not be 100% accurate. Factors affecting accuracy include video quality, camera positioning, player occlusion, and environmental conditions. Our analytics should be used as general guidance rather than definitive measurements.
We hereby grant you a right to the analytics data generated from your uploaded videos. You may export, share, or use this data. We retain the right to use the analytics to improve our services.
While our Platform may provide physical performance data, this information does NOT constitute medical advice, injury diagnosis, or health recommendations. Consult qualified medical professionals for any health, fitness, or injury-related concerns. We are not liable for any injuries or health issues resulting from training or playing decisions based on our analytics.
10.1 Our Intellectual Property: All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including software code, AI algorithms, computer vision models, user interface design, logos, graphics, and documentation — are our exclusive property or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
10.2 License to Use Our Platform: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free and revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal or internal team use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Platform or software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code.
10.3 User Content License to Us: By uploading videos, posting messages, or submitting any content to the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, process, adapt, publish, transmit, and display such content for the purposes of operating, providing, improving, and promoting the Platform.
10.4 Feedback and Suggestions: If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Platform, you grant us the right to use and implement such feedback without any obligation to you, including without limitation, any compensation or attribution.
11.3 Refund Policy: All subscription fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law. You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase if you have not exceeded the free tier usage limits. Refunds are processed at our discretion and may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.
11.4 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
11.5 Free Trials: We may offer free trial periods for certain subscription tiers. Trials require valid payment information and will automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. You may only claim one free trial per account.
Our Platform utilizes third-party services including:
12.2 Third-Party Integrations: You may choose to connect third-party applications or services to your account. By authorizing these integrations, you grant those services access to certain data as specified during the authorization process. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.
12.3 Links to External Sites: The Platform may contain links to external websites or resources. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or infrastructure problems may cause temporary service disruptions.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF AI-GENERATED INSIGHTS, COMPUTER VISION ANALYSIS, OR PERFORMANCE METRICS. AI outputs are estimations based on available data and should not be solely relied upon for critical decisions. We disclaim all liability for decisions made based on our analytics.
13.3 No Guarantee of Results: We do not guarantee that use of our Platform will result in improved performance, skill development, team success, or any specific outcomes. Athletic performance depends on numerous factors beyond analytics and technology.
13.4 Video Quality and Processing: We do not guarantee successful processing of all uploaded videos. Poor video quality, unsupported formats, corrupted files, or technical limitations may prevent analysis. Processing times may vary based on video length, resolution, and system load.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM: your use of or inability to use the Platform; unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or videos; errors or inaccuracies in AI analysis; interruption or cessation of the Service; bugs or malicious code; content posted by users or third parties; or decisions made based on analytics or recommendations.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
14.3 Injuries and Physical Harm: WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES, PHYSICAL HARM, OR HEALTH ISSUES ARISING FROM TRAINING, PLAYING, OR ANY PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BASED ON OUR ANALYTICS OR RECOMMENDATIONS. ALWAYS CONSULT QUALIFIED MEDICAL AND COACHING PROFESSIONALS.
14.4 Data Loss: While we implement backup systems, we are not liable for any loss of videos, analytics data, or other content. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important videos and data.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless — our parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and licensors — from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
16.1 Our Right to Moderate: We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, screen, post, remove, modify, store, or otherwise use any content uploaded or posted to the Platform. We may use automated systems, AI content moderation tools, and human review to detect prohibited content.
16.2 Reporting Violations: If you believe any content violates these Terms or applicable laws, please report it through our reporting system or contact legal@fieldcoach.ai. We will investigate reports and take appropriate action.

While we strive to provide generous storage for all users, our service is subject to fair use guidelines to ensure quality and availability for all customers. We reserve the right to implement reasonable storage limits based on actual usage patterns and operational costs.
Right to Implement Limits: We may introduce or modify storage caps, processing limits, or other usage restrictions at any time. We reserve the right to review accounts that demonstrate usage patterns significantly above average, including storage exceeding reasonable standards, unusually high bandwidth consumption, processing requests that impact system performance, or activity inconsistent with individual use.
If your usage is determined to be excessive, we may require you to optimize or reduce your storage usage, implement account-specific limits, or recommend purchasing increased storage.
Data Retention and Archival: To optimize storage costs and performance, we may compress video files without significant quality loss. Content not accessed for 30+ days may be deleted. We may delete content you explicitly mark for deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, including for: violation of these Terms; fraudulent or illegal activity; uploading prohibited content; harassment of other users; 12+ months of inactivity; requests by law enforcement; non-payment of fees; or attempting to circumvent security measures.
17.2 Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by accessing your account settings and selecting the deletion option, or by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your access will cease immediately, though you may retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period.
17.4 Data Export Before Termination: Before terminating your account, you may export your videos, analytics data, and reports using our data export tools. Exported data will be provided in common formats (MP4 for videos, CSV/JSON for analytics).
17.5 Survival: Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
18.1 Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on the Platform, updating the "Last Updated" date, or sending an email notification to your registered address. For significant changes, we may require you to accept the new Terms before continuing to use the Platform.
18.2 Changes to Service: We continuously improve our Platform and may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We may also discontinue the Service entirely upon notice to active subscribers. Changes to core features will be communicated through in-Platform notifications or email.
18.3 Your Acceptance: Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may terminate your account for a pro-rated refund if applicable.
19.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Connecticut.
In the event of any dispute, the parties agree to the following resolution process:
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive your right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative actions.
19.4 Exceptions: Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement, unauthorized access, or data breaches.
20.1 Age Verification and Enforcement: We strictly enforce our age restrictions and requirements. We reserve the right to request proof of age (government-issued ID) at any time. Users who violate our age restrictions, including by misrepresenting their age or parental/guardian consent, may be permanently banned from the Platform and may be subject to legal action.
20.2 Educational and Non-Commercial Use: If you represent a school, academy, or non-profit organization, you may use the Platform for educational and player development purposes. Commercial use, including scouting for transfer fees or player sales, may require a commercial license. Contact support@fieldcoach.ai for commercial licensing options.
20.3 Professional Clubs and Organizations: Professional clubs, agencies, and sports organizations may require enterprise agreements with additional terms covering data security, compliance, and liability. Standard subscription terms may not apply to professional entities.
20.4 Accessibility: We strive to make our Platform accessible to users with disabilities. If you experience accessibility issues, please contact support@fieldcoach.ai so we can assist you and improve our service.
21.1 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
21.2 Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
22.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms together with other policies, legal notices or agreements published by us on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, negotiations, and discussions, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
22.2 Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account to any third party without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to any third party, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
22.3 Language: These Terms may be translated into other languages for your convenience. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail.
